Waste management from identification through disposal
UES helps businesses identify, document, transport and manage hazardous and special waste from the first site assessment through final disposal.

Kept separate from used oil. Hazardous and special wastes are collected, documented and managed separately from the used oil sent to our Peachtree City re-refinery.

Shipping requirements

Send us the material, quantity, location and any available SDS or waste information. An on-site assessment can be arranged when needed.
We prepare the documentation
We determine what paperwork is required and prepare the appropriate waste profiles, shipping documents and labels.
We schedule transportation
UES coordinates pickup and transportation to the appropriate recycling, treatment or disposal facility.
You keep the records
Manifests, invoices and other service records are available through the UES Customer Portal.
Common questions
What kinds of hazardous waste does UES handle?
UES handles a wide range of commercial and industrial waste, including solvents, paints, aerosols, batteries, contaminated materials, chemicals and lab-pack quantities. If you have an unusual material, send us the name or Safety Data Sheet and we'll review it.
Do you handle non-hazardous waste too?
Yes. The Hazardous & Special Waste Division also manages many non-hazardous industrial and commercial waste streams.
Is hazardous waste mixed with the used oil UES collects?
No. Hazardous and special wastes are kept separate from the used oil stream and follow their own documentation, transportation and disposal process.
What is universal waste?
Universal waste is a regulatory category covering certain commonly generated hazardous wastes. Which materials qualify depends on the waste and applicable regulations. UES handles common universal waste streams such as batteries and lamps, as well as electronic waste through separate recycling services. See the Universal Waste page.
Can you help if I do not know how my waste is classified?
Yes. Send us a description of the material and any available Safety Data Sheet, product label or previous waste profile. We'll review the information and tell you what is needed next.
Do you provide manifests and disposal records?
Yes. Required shipping and disposal documentation is prepared as part of the service, and applicable records can be accessed through the Customer Portal.
