Clay absorbents
Loose granular absorbent for shop floors, drips and spills. Spread it over the liquid, let it absorb, then sweep it up for collection.
Booms
Long absorbent tubes used to surround leaks and spills and help keep liquid from spreading into other areas.
Pads
Flat absorbent sheets for workbenches, drip areas, equipment leaks and smaller spills where quick cleanup matters.
Spent absorbent collection
Once absorbents have been used, UES can provide a container and collect the spent material from your site.
How the material is handled depends on what the absorbent picked up, so tell us whether it contains used oil, antifreeze, solvents, chemicals or another material.
- Containers sized for your site. Options include drums, totes and larger bins for higher-volume facilities.
- Collected by UES drivers. Pickup can be scheduled on routes serving your area.
- Handled according to the material absorbed. We review what the absorbents contain so they can be transported and managed appropriately.
- Service records included. Collection history is available through the Customer Portal.
- Can often be combined with other services. If UES already collects your used oil, filters or other waste streams, absorbent service may be added to the same visit.

What happens to spent absorbents after pickup?
That depends on what they absorbed. Used oil, antifreeze, solvents and other materials can have different handling requirements, so UES reviews the waste stream before determining the appropriate recycling, treatment or disposal route.
Can absorbent collection be added to my used oil pickup?
Often, yes. If UES already services your location, spent absorbent collection and replacement supplies may be added to an existing visit depending on your route and materials.
