We don't have a facility inside the District. The closest UES facility is in Baltimore, about 40 miles northeast, and our Ashland, Virginia facility is about 90 miles south. Call our main number and we'll connect you with the team that covers your address.

Planning a pickup in the District
Many sites in and around the city have loading dock hours, security checks or building rules. When you request service, tell us about access to your tank and any rules the driver needs to follow. We plan the pickup around them, and the driver leaves documentation of every pickup.
Where your used oil goes
Much of the used oil UES collects is transported to our re-refinery in Peachtree City, Georgia.
Oil suitable for re-refining is processed into recovered base oil that can be used to make new lubricants. Keeping collection and re-refining within UES gives us a direct path from your pickup to the plant that processes the oil.
The plant processes 90 million gallons of used oil a year. The Used Oil Re-Refinery page explains the process and includes information about plant tours.

Do you have a location in Washington, DC?
No. Service in the District runs from our nearest facilities, and Baltimore is the closest. You call one number, 800.988.7977, and we connect you with the right team.
Do you serve Northern Virginia?
Yes. Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford and Spotsylvania counties are part of our working area, along with Alexandria, Fairfax City and Fredericksburg.
Do you serve suburban Maryland?

Much of the used oil UES collects is sent to our re-refinery in Peachtree City, Georgia, where suitable oil is processed into recovered base oil for new lubricants.
