Used oil filters
UES supplies a 95-gallon rollaway cart, a 275-gallon bin or drums, chosen by how many filters you drain and the space you have.
Spent antifreeze
Collected as its own stream in a tote or drum from UES, often on the same visit as your used oil.
Oily wastewater
Petroleum-contaminated water from wash areas, drain traps and tanks. Routine pickups run on UES used oil trucks.
Vacuum services
Pump-outs for separators, wash bay drains, trenches, pits and sumps, with pressure washing when the job calls for it.

Wash bays, separators and sumps at a fleet yard
UES vacuum services pump out the separators, wash bay drains, trenches, pits and sumps at a fleet yard, and haul the material to an appropriate facility based on its type.
- Oil and water separators. Accumulated oily water, sludge and sediment removed.
- Wash bay drains. Drains and collection areas where grit, sludge and oily water build up.
- Trenches, pits and sumps. Liquid and solids pumped out for maintenance or a one-time cleanout.
- Pressure washing. The area is washed after pumping when the job calls for it.

Where a fleet's used oil goes after pickup
Much of the used oil UES collects goes to the UES re-refinery in Peachtree City, Georgia.
There, suitable oil is processed into recovered base oil that can be used to make new lubricants. Water, fuel, additives and other contaminants are separated during processing.
Oil that is not suitable for re-refining may be used as industrial fuel.

What kinds of fleets does UES collect from?
Trucking companies, bus operations, municipal fleets, equipment yards and other facilities with recurring used oil volume.
Can UES pump out our wash bay or oil and water separator?
Yes. UES vacuum services cover separators, car wash bays, trenches, drains, pits and sumps, as recurring maintenance or a one-time job. A UES representative can also inspect the site by appointment first.
Can our fleet haul its own used oil?
Under the federal rules a business may haul up to 55 gallons at a time, in its own vehicle, to a used oil collection center or its own aggregation point without an EPA ID number (40 CFR 279.24). Your state may add requirements.
What happens to the used oil after pickup?
Much of it goes to the UES re-refinery in Peachtree City, Georgia, where suitable oil is processed into recovered base oil for new lubricants. Oil that cannot be re-refined may be used as industrial fuel.
What paperwork do I get after a pickup?
Each service is recorded with the material, the quantity, the date and the transporter's EPA ID number. Receipts come by email or on paper, and your service history is in the Customer Portal.
