Who UES is
Universal Environmental Services collects and recycles used oil and other waste streams generated by commercial and industrial businesses.
Our services include used motor oil and industrial oil collection, used oil filters, antifreeze, absorbents, oily wastewater, parts washer service, fluorescent bulbs, vacuum work and hazardous or special waste.
Today, UES operates routes across 28 states with more than 400 collection and transport trucks, serving more than 35,000 customers and collecting more than 90 million gallons of used oil each year.
UES is headquartered in Peachtree City, Georgia, and is part of Avista Oil. The company is also a member of Enfinite, the Industrial Liquid Recyclers Association, and of ILMA, the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association.
Collection and re-refining under one company
UES completed its $60 million used oil re-refinery in Peachtree City in 2013.
Much of the used oil we collect is transported to the plant, where suitable oil is processed into recovered base oil that can be used to make new lubricants. Oil that is not suitable for re-refining may be used as industrial fuel.
Because UES handles both collection and re-refining, much of the oil we pick up stays within the same company from the customer's tank to the plant.

Compliance and insurance
Environmental and safety requirements are part of the work UES handles every day.
UES maintains the environmental authorizations required for its operations and runs an Environmental, Health and Safety Management program covering employee training, incident investigation, internal communication and facility audits.
The company also carries a $20 million blanket insurance policy. Certificates of liability insurance are available on request, while customers can access Safety Data Sheets and Certificates of Insurance through the Customer Portal.
